About the Journal
The Ibn Al-Haitham Journal for Pure and Applied Sciences (IHJPAS) (P-ISSN: 1609-4042, E-ISSN: 2521-3407). The journal was established in 1989. From 1989 to 2004, all papers weren't electronically indexed. However, they were available in the journal's library from 2005 until today and have been electronically indexed. The journal published four issues from 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2009, and three from 2010 to 2019. Only one issue was published in 2007, as the situation in Iraq was critical at the time. Recently, four issues have been published per year from 2020 to the present. The journal may also consider a special issue to avoid delays or publish a particular conference topic.

The journal is self-funded through publication fees to researchers, without receiving financial support from any external entity. The College of Education for Pure Science (Ibn Al-Haitham) at the University of Baghdad contributes support that enhances the continuity of its scientific activity.
Aims and Scope: IHJPAS is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes original research in biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, and related science.
