The Ibn Al-Haitham Journal for Pure and Applied Sciences (IHJPAS) (P-ISSN: 1609-4042, E-ISSN: 2521-3407). is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal managed by the College of Education for Pure Science (Ibn Al-Haitham), University of Baghdad.
Aims and Scope
IHJPAS is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes original research in biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, and related science and technology. The journal accepts innovative research articles, literature reviews, and technical notes.
Publication Frequency
Ibn Al-Haitham Journal for Pure and Applied Sciences is published 4 issues per year from 2020 to the present.
Journal History
The journal was established in 1989. From 1989 to 2004, all papers weren't electronically indexed. However, they were available in the journal's library from 2005 until today and have been electronically indexed.
The journal published four issues in each of 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2009 and three issues from 2010 to 2019. Only one issue was published in 2007, as the situation in Iraq was critical at the time.
The journal may also consider a special issue to avoid delays or publish a particular conference topic.
Open Access Policy
